No Escape from the Blues (3a)

So I took a break from reviewing grants, and purchased access to AVS Audio Converter 6.2 software - and so here is the start of one of my blues show, without the annoying woman's voice every minute or two.  Success!

Highly recommend.  Hasn't stopped blooming since I planted it months ago - and like it's described, you don't have to dead-head it.  And it's a huge mound in the garden, and here it is, late October, and it doesn't seem to be slowing down at all.  Not sure if it'll come back next spring (I'll mulch it heavily) - but even if it doesn't, this is an annual I'd buy again - and more than one of them next year!

3D, when I converted each CD to an MP3 file, they were just over 100 MB each...  too large to upload or email (unless by a for-fee service).  But!  It seems that typepad can accept the m4a files - so see if you can download this... and play it.  (It is CD "3a").

(As for the rest of you who might happen by - this is partial recording of a blues show that I did sometime between 1981-1983) at the Virginia Tech student station, WUVT.  The show's name was "No Escape from the Blues" - a Muddy Waters tune).

What can I say?  I'm a microbiologist by trade, and since the light sensor on my Nikon went bad (again) last April (14 April, to be precise) - I've been lost.  It hasn't been the best time to purchase a new one (understatement), so I've stumbled along - until today, when my brother, who had the same camera as I did (a Christmas gift to each of us from Mom six years ago), - UPS'ed me his camera that he rarely used.  As you might imagine, I ran to just about everything in the garden, macro setting on - and might I just say this:  happiness.
