Those who live in aluminum houses...should not park them under a large live oak tree in the autumn.

It doesn't have the same soothing effect as the rain-on-a-metal-roof phenomenon, I take it?

Janet had it right Kim - 'boing-boing' about sums it up! Interestingly, I've gotten so I don't hear it...Rain, on the other hand, is wonderful - although this afternoon we had a downpour and I couldn't hear when I was talking with someone on the phone - and what an excuse I had!
