I've made the plunge.
Yesterday morning I woke up to a defunct AC unit. In late July. In the southeast.
Since the Airstream's AC unit works great - I somewhat irratically decided that last night was the night - and I spent my first night in the Airstream. With three dogs.
Two things of note:
-
I'm no longer used to living on 'the ground'.
-
It's really weird to hear something walking on your roof.
Needless to say, I didn't sleep well. But I think I needed to make the jump - and today I have my TV and computer in the Airstream and hooked up to cable and the internet.
So this is my first official post from the Airstream. It all started here.
Life is an adventure (or so I'd like to think).
You hadn't talked about the Airstream in so long that I kind of forgot about its existence! Happy cozy-furry move-in day, Pam!

Is this a going back to my roots sort of thing? Glad you are keeping cool, but this morning, throw open the door to that Airstream. It's cool out here.

Sometimes it takes an act of God (or AC) to get us moving, doesn't it? I burst out laughing when I read note #2 - I was going to write that you'll get used to that but it might be a good idea not to!
