Well, The Dan's two ducks are now pelts (treasured pelts, but pelts nonetheless) - and on Thursday I thought that The Dan might be ready for a pheasant.
I meant to watch out for the pheasant's best interest, but obviously I didn't do such a good job of it.
There is now a third treasured pelt in The Dan's Pelt Collection.

LOL! I thought Coco was the only dog who completely de-stuffs these toys. At least the Dan is nice enough to cuddle up with the pelt afterward, though. :)

Too funny. Maybe Dan needs a less distructable toy.

Kim, she definitely goes for the de-stuffing. The pheasant was de-stuffed differently than the ducks - the pheasant's head was severed, and the 'innards' pulled out slowly through the opening. The rest of the body (thus far) is pretty much intact.
Deb, I have some of the 'kongs' and the other heavy rubber toys - but boy, her little dog eyes just light up with this stuff squeaky birds. And she honestly sleeps with the pelts. It's pretty funny.
