Items No. 2-4 on To-Do List. The day ended - more or less - at Sonny's Camp-N-Travel at 8155 Rivers Avenue. Pete (yes, THE PETE) helped me trailer the Airstream out to Sonny's - who has graciously agreed to look over the Airstream's propane system. The tanks - well, everything really - is original, so they need to be upgraded (updated), and the whole system needs to be leak-tested. That seemed like a good starting point for my new temporary home (aka carriage house) preparations. The day started a bit rocky though - the Love-Wood who has been exhibiting dangerously high liver enzyme levels of late, went in for exploratory surgery today - where they found a bad gall bladder (50:50 that it's a thickened area due to infection or a mass) - so, Wood is recuperating at the vet's overnight, minus her gall bladder. I'll be happy to pick her up tomorrow morning, and my fingers are crossed that this will help her out for years to come. After dropping her off this morning, I met with my first architect regarding my house plans - yeah, that small-fingerprint home with radiant heat and a hybrid solar system (so I'll be both on and off the e-grid) and a cistern - an old-fashioned water collection system for irrigation. More on that later - but for now, I'll just say that I have a whole lot to learn.
About a half hour ago, I poured myself a glass of wine, and I do believe that I'm just too tired to drink it.
Hope Wood feels better real quick! Will she have to take medicine now to do the work that her GB did?

No - I don't think so. She came home this morning, and is still sore and uncomfortable - she's laying on her bed making the most sad little whining noise. She's on pain meds, but it must still hurt. Poor thing. I think she's mad at me too!
