Annie in Austin

When I was a kid in Chicago area, Popcorn trees were Catalpas!

Pam

Annie: When I lived in Michigan - there were gorgeous catalpa trees (including a huge one in the front yard of the farmhouse that I rented). I never heard them called that - interesting! I know these guys (popcorn trees, chinese tallow) are problematic - invasive, etc - but this year here they have had just gorgeous fall color - I just have two large ones, that line the tidal creeks around my place.
