1. The bulkheads looks better, but not great. I need to find out if sanding the bad spots of the wood more will be good or bad longterm for the wood. (I'm thinking bad).
2. I'm okay with my orbital sander, but I don't handle the detail sander (that I use for the corners, edges, etc) well. Not well at all. I have more trouble keeping it steady, and I get scratches. There's a technique to it that I'm not grasping.
3. The textured paint on the floor of the cockpit is peeling worse than I thought. It needs to be scraped up, sanded, and fresh paint applied. At the same time I should probably repaint the floor boards inside the cabin (they are the same color and type of paint - a textured forest green).
4. The mainsail is clean, dry and folded (correctly).
5. I still want cockpit cushions. I'd love green ones, but they'd get really hot. I need to go for beige. Maybe next year.
6. It's a little progress, but still progress.
