Today was a friend's birthday, and to the delight of about a dozen of us, a mutual friend donated an evening cruise (one that she had bid on during the annual SEWEE Association oyster roast) for the birthday celebration - one that took us on a slow boat ride from the Isle of Palms marina to Capers Island and back. On Capers, we all went for a short walk.
(Thankfully, my Nikon was still working on the one setting.)
What a beautiful evening - does a body good.

What a fortunate setting to ONLY have left on your camera. The pictures are amazing!

Outstanding photos. A few more additions to the Bark exhibit? :)

Thanks Sailingcvgal - and I was happy to about the camera (although I'm obsessed with macro images so this distance stuff is a big freakish for me).
CK, yep - you guessed it! (But I was bummed that I couldn't take macro shots). One bark image, after I get this all together and have a show, is heading down your way (I've 'reserved' this one for you for awhile now!).
