Thanks Annie. Bald cypresses have become my favorite - I have three that were given to me as 2' tall trees about 8 years ago, and now they tower over my place. The deck is pretty nice, stop by sometime.
Carol, CC, and Anna Maria: They are beautiful (and yes, very close). You know, I've not seen them out on the west coast - perhaps I just missed them? They seem fairly adaptable.
That is too, too beautiful, Pam. These trees grow well in some parts of Austin, so we get to see Bald Cypresses live, not just envy yours!
That must be some wonderful deck.

I love bald cypress trees, we can also grow them in zone 5.

I don't know bald cypresses. I wonder if our Botanical Gardens have any. They are definitely worth looking for.
